The interaction of silver with the lipid membranes surrounding bacteria and viruses creates electron donor groups, which disrupts the infection process by blocking viral proteins. This silver-infused technology is incorporated into the fabric using a unique treatment approved by HEIQ (HEIQ AG-20), registered with the EPA under number 85249-1.
