Azzaro pour Homme by Azzaro is an “Eau de Toilette” for men included in the Aromatic Fougère family. This perfume is one of the great classics of men's perfumery, it has been around for almost four decades, and it remains one of the best-selling in the European market.
This fragrance was launched in 1978 by perfumers Gerard Anthony, Martin Heiddenreich and Richard Wirtz. At that time, fougère essences were all the rage, aromas that aim to evoke forests and wild vegetation. Azzaro pour Homme belongs to this group and is one of those perfumes that stay in our memory and allow us to recall moments already lived.
Its olfactory pyramid begins with a strong presence of lavender, a clean aroma that is fused with citrus and bitter flashes, coming from star anise. Then, a heart opens up that evolves towards a woody and very masculine tone, with notes such as sandalwood and cedar, to end with a warm and sweet impression, created by amber, musk and oak moss, among others.
